Your photos.
Truly private.
Arcana is an encrypted vault for your most personal photos and videos, on Mac, iPhone and iPad, with no account and no forced cloud.
Security, without the hassle.
Real encryption
Every photo and video is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before it even touches the disk. The key never leaves your devices.
Face ID and Touch ID
Unlock in an instant, with a 6-digit passcode as a fallback. The vault locks as soon as it goes to the background.
Private sync
Folders, albums and encrypted files sync between Mac, iPhone and iPad through your own iCloud. No third-party server, no account.
On-device search
Text in images, faces, categories: find a photo in seconds. All analysis stays on your device.
Import from Photos
Import the photos and videos you choose, then remove them from your library if you wish.
Sorted by place
If you allow it, the capture location lets you find and organize your memories by place.
Nobody else sees your photos.
Your photos are encrypted on your device, with a key that never leaves it. Even when synced, they only travel encrypted in your private iCloud: neither the developer nor anyone else can see them.
